Notarization & Authentication
The Consulate General in Vancouver, authenticates documents such as birth/death/marriage certificates, adoption papers, diplomas, and trademark registrations, executed in British Columbia which are to be used in China.
Please follow these procedures:
- Documents should first be notarized by a notary public.
- Applicants should then have documents legalized by the office of the Atttorney General for the Province of Birtish Columbia in Victoria.
- Courier the original, certified and legalized documents, as well as a copy of all documents to be authenticated to this office for Chinse Consulate authentication.
Include one Authentication Application Form, filled-in and signed.
For security reasons, we highly recommend you use traceable couriers for this purpose.
