Notarization & Authentication

The Consulate General in Vancouver, authenticates documents such as birth/death/marriage certificates, adoption papers, diplomas, and trademark registrations, executed in British Columbia which are to be used in China.

Please follow these procedures:

1. Documents should first be notarized by a notary public.
2. Applicants should then have documents legalized by the office of the Atttorney General for the Province of Birtish Columbia in Victoria.
3. Courier the original, certified and legalized documents, as well as a copy of all documents to be authenticated to this office for Chinse Consulate authentication.

Include one Authentication Application Form, filled-in and signed.

For security reasons, we highly recommend you use traceable couriers for this purpose.
